Candidate’s Biographies
Nick Adamankis
I currently serve the Foothills Community Association as Treasurer, and I’m asking for your support to continue that work. I believe strong HOA governance starts with ensuring every resident’s voice is heard, following our CC&Rs and Arizona statutes, communicating openly, exercising fiscal discipline, and making ethical decisions residents can trust. I bring 40 years of HOA leadership experience across diverse, master-planned Arizona communities, including service as President, Chair, and Treasurer. I’ve overseen budgets, reserve planning, vendor contracts, and community operations for neighborhoods totaling thousands of homes. Before retiring, I spent 25 years as Arizona State University’s Director of Marketing, leading large teams and complex projects with a focus on communication, accountability, and continuous improvement. I bring that same approach to FCA: disciplined, transparent governance grounded in our governing documents and fiduciary responsibilities. I’d be honored to continue serving our community with the integrity, stewardship, dedication, and sound judgment it deserves.

I am running for the Foothills Board of Directors to restore the financial health and community trust that we deserve. As a resident for 37 years alongside my husband, Steve, I bring 13 years of proven experience as a former Board member and Treasurer. During my tenure, or community consistently operated within budget, and our reserve accounts were fully funded. Beyond financial leadership, my deep roots include servicing as a Community Liaison in the 1990s and actively participating on the lakes and golf course committee over the years. I love living here, however I share your growing concerns regarding our current leadership. With my deep institutional knowledge and a track record of fiscal responsibility, I am ready to restore stability, transparency, and confidence to our Board. I would deeply appreciate your vote to help guide the Foothills back to a solid, prosperous position.
The Annual Membership Meeting Notice and Ballot will be mailed and/or emailed to all Members in September. Please do not hesitate to contact us via email at communications@trestlemanagement.com or at 480-422-0888 x1071 if you have questions.
