The Foothills Community Association is only as strong as the people who show up for it. Whether you want to serve on the Board or volunteer on a committee, there’s a place for you here.
How the Association is Governed
Understanding how The Foothills is managed helps homeowners know where their voice fits in.
The Board of Directors
The Association is governed by a Board of Directors made up of elected homeowner volunteers. The Board is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the community, enforcing the CC&Rs, approving budgets, and setting policy on behalf of all residents. Board members are elected by fellow homeowners and serve defined terms as outlined in the Association’s Bylaws and CC&Rs.
Interested in serving on the Board? Keep an eye on the News & Events page for upcoming election announcements.
The Management Company
The Board contracts with Trestle Management Group to handle the day-to-day operations of the Association — including billing, communications, vendor coordination, and compliance. The management company acts under the direction of the Board and serves as the primary point of contact for homeowner requests and inquiries.
As required by the CC&Rs, all management activities are overseen and directed by the elected Board of Directors, ensuring that homeowners remain in control of their community.
Volunteer Committees
Our committees are made up entirely of homeowner volunteers who donate their time to keep The Foothills a great place to live. Each committee plays a specific role in the community — find the one that fits your interests and get involved.
Landscape & Lakes
Oversees the maintenance and beautification of community common areas, open spaces, and the lakes throughout The Foothills. Volunteers help guide landscaping standards and seasonal improvement projects.
Design Review Committee (DRC)
Reviews homeowner requests for exterior modifications and ensures all changes conform to the community’s Design Guidelines and CC&Rs. This committee meets monthly and plays a key role in preserving the look and feel of the neighborhood.
Election Committee
Ensures the integrity and transparency of the Association’s annual Board elections. Volunteers assist with ballot distribution, vote counting, and communicating election results to the community in accordance with the Bylaws.
Holiday Lights Committee
Plans and coordinates the community’s holiday lighting displays and seasonal decorations in common areas. This is a great way to give back while building community spirit during the holiday season.
Financial Committee
Assists the Board in reviewing the Association’s budget, reserve fund, financial statements, and expenditures. Volunteers with a background in finance, accounting, or budgeting are especially welcome.
Communications Committee
Manages community outreach including newsletters, website content, and resident announcements. Volunteers help keep homeowners informed and engaged with what’s happening throughout The Foothills.
Parcel Area Advisory Committee
Supports planning and improvement projects specific to the gated communities within The Foothills. This committee gives residents of those areas a direct voice in decisions that affect their parcels and shared spaces.
